Leadership Coaching at Any Stage
For teams and individuals—geared toward what you need when you need it.
Since high school (and I’m not in my 40s), I’ve been blessed with great mentors and coaches. Sometimes they’ve found me, other times I’ve approached them. I’m a firm believer that everyone needs people who are working both with them and on them. It’s one of the most effective ways to grow.
Now, I’ve intentionally turned that toward others.
Leader Care Network
About five years ago, as a way to more intentionally serve people inside and outside of the church, I started Leader Care Network. At that time, it was just a structure waiting for the right opportunity. Two years ago, after praying about a way to better serve my family—especially my wife—I accelerated how I use it. Since then, it has grown into a practice that coaches leaders inside and outside of the church—from California to New York and as far south as Costa Rica.
I work individuals and teams in areas of trust, team building, communication, and execution. Sometimes people just need a confidant, and I can be that, too. For those who are in church leadership, we can drill into specific areas of leadership unique to your context. Either way, we build a plan together.
There is nothing cookie-cutter about what I do. What I’ve found is that, if you’re willing, the partnership changes both of us. That’s what I want. Every client has made me better.
My approach to coaching is to enter into a meaningul partnership, and I want you to feel like I’m a trusted teammate from the very beginning.
A Little About Me
I am married to Courtney and we have three sons still in the home (though that will soon change). I still pastor as my day job, but coaching takes a lot of my time. I leverage everything I’ve learned through 17 years of pastoring, a four-year masters, and four-year PhD for you. I’m currently trying to get a memoir picked up by an agent—it’s about my failures as a husband over 20 years. (I think leadership books are fine, but they become tomorrow’s grab bag pretty quickly.)
Next Step?
Every coach will tell you they are great, and they probably are. I can give you testimonials if you want them, but so much of this is based on your needs and our fit. I can point you to pastors or VPs or managers or CEOs who could put a good word in, but what matters is if you think I can help. (I might think I’d be a great fit but your opinion is what matters.)
So reach out. I have limited capacity to take on extra work, but I would always consider it. Let me know your situation. Responsiveness is a high value of mine, so you’ll hear back.
