“Be Yourself”—The Advice People Pay For?

Baton Rouge is indeed a political town. It is hard for me to keep up. Politics and sports run the calendar, and anytime there is a Republican debate for the candidates with high polling numbers I read about how Bobby Jindal (thus far stuck in the undercard debate) should be in the big boys (plus Carly) debate.

I don’t know if you are a fan of Jeb Bush, but he has come across as plastic during these debates. His most memorable moment was when Marco Rubio used him as a punching bag. He’s been so bad that he has actually talked with a media coach.

That coach’s advice: “Be yourself.”

If any of you presidential candidates are reading this, I would like to offer my own services as your personal media coach. When things are going poorly for you give me a call. “Be yourself, bro,” I’ll exhort. I guarantee you that the advice will be sound.

Now that’ll be $5,000.
