The Secret to Being Honest is All in the Voice

by Hans on September 12, 2013 in Humor, Preaching

Sometimes I’m given a bit of inspiration. When I can, I bottle it up and share it with you, my devoted readers. So here it is, the secret to being honest: sing it (but sing it poorly).

The Secret to Being Honest from Hans Googer on Vimeo.

My suggestion for you is this: try it. I’m not kidding. Grab your spouse, or your roommate, or your friend, or your kids and sing them something. You won’t regret it (at least not immediately).

PS-For the record, I do take preaching very seriously, I just don’t take myself seriously.

PPS-Here’s hoping 50-year-old Hans doesn’t look back on this and punch me.

  1. I am one of the 12! Thanks for sharing, young Hans!
I think this would be a good tactic in a messy discussion with a spouse or a child.

  2. Interesting, very interesting.

  3. Well, it might have been levity on Thursday, but it was hilarious on Friday! I am going to have to change sides of the church for my seat next time I attend. Or maybe not, that could be a distraction!

    God bless you Hans.

  4. (To the tune of the Imperial Death March) I can’t figure out how to sing my comment, but you can just sing it in your head, in your head.

I'd love to hear your thoughts
